Member Zoom History Happy Hour - Lincoln’s Connections to the Gettysburg Seminary

Abraham Lincoln’s visit to Gettysburg on November 18 and 19, 1863, is a familiar story to many, including his arrival in town, stay at the Wills House, and delivery of the Gettysburg Address. However, many details of the occasion are lesser-known, including a reported battlefield tour of “the ground around the Seminary.”

Join Codie Eash, Director of Education and Museum Operations, and Kaleb Kusmierczyk, Education and Visitor Services Coordinator as we discuss President Lincoln’s time at, and other connections to, people and places associated with Gettysburg’s Lutheran Seminary.
