“Determined Courage”: The 151st Pennsylvania Volunteers on Seminary Ridge

On the 160th anniversary of the closing of the Seminary Hospital, join us for a full-day exploration of the men in one of Gettysburg’s most storied regiments. Follow in their footsteps on McPherson Ridge. Learn about their ethnic makeup. And discover the injuries that plagued them for the rest of their lives.  

Join historians Jim Pangburn, Rick Schroeder, Christian Keller, Pete Miele, and Codie Eash as they follow in the footsteps and experiences of the 151st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry.

Friday, September 15:

5:30pm - Evening reception in Seminary Ridge Museum, followed by an overview program.

Saturday, September 16:

8:00am - Light breakfast, non-strenuous morning battlefield walking tour, followed by provided lunch and afternoon speakers.
